Today more than ever, the importance of accurate and timely diagnostics is clearly understood. In front of our eyes, the healthcare and clinical lab landscape has been rapidly changing with increasing pressure on labs to process more samples faster, deliver results faster, and offer a broader and more varied test repertoire.
But, how can the lab manage an increasingly high number of samples, deliver results faster, and yet ensure the highest quality when the majority of their time is consumed in day-to-day operational tasks like troubleshooting, manual work, and resource inefficiencies?
To help laboratories overcome increasing pressures, reduce the time spent on daily operational tasks, and focus more on strategic activities such as expanding services and improving outcomes, we are committed to continuously developing innovative, high-quality solutions. This dedication is exemplified by our latest generation clinical chemistry and immunochemistry platform, cobas® pro integrated solutions.
Now we aim to take cobas® pro to the next level by integrating high-volume clinical chemistry testing, minimizing hands-on-time through increased automation and therefore improving overall efficiency for laboratories.
Get ready to experience new possibilities in clinical chemistry with the new cobas® c 703 and cobas® ISE neo analytical units!
Designed to double the clinical chemistry throughput on cobas® pro integrated solutions on a similar footprint
Designed to complement the existing cobas® c 503 and cobas® e 801
analytical units and the new to be launched cobas® ISE neo, the cobas® c 703 will help your lab to reach even higher throughput levels, designed for fast and efficient clinical chemistry analysis.
The new cobas® c 703 is designed to achieve a throughput of up to 2000 tests per hour and to offer 70 reagent positions. Innovative new features include:
Automated maintenance - The vast majority of maintenance actions are now done in the background automatically, operator intervention is now required monthly instead of daily.
Intelligent and continuous reagent loading - Up to 5 cobas® c pack green can be loaded and unloaded at one time, with up to 6 months onboard stability, along with on the fly loading to serve all your testing needs.
Reduced calibration efforts - With cobas® AutoCal, new reagent lots for many of the clinical chemistry tests are calibrated automatically, without the need for manual calibration.
The cobas® c 703 is intended to simplify operations, minimize hands-on work, and help manage a high sample workload in the lab.
Designed to improve ISE testing efficiency with new features
To simplify operation, reduce system downtime, and improve overall system workflow, cobas® ISE neo will be completely independent of the clinical chemistry unit. With its own water, power, and basic solution supply, maintenance can be done independently and requires no support box for operations that require additional space.
The new cobas® ISE neo analytical unit will offer two possible throughput levels, up to 900 or 1800 tests/hour, with identical footprint. Additionally, with innovative hardware and software solutions, it will offer:
Significantly reduced hands-on maintenance times - By employing the ISE wash, a self-operating maintenance action, hands-on maintenance is reduced to monthly instead of daily.
Automated calibration concept - With cobas® AutoCal, calibration automatically occurs once the internal standard is exchanged.
Simplified reagent management - The cobas® ISE neo performs more tests per reagent bottle, reducing the frequency of bottle changeover, minimizing plastic waste, and reducing logistical efforts, compared to previous-generation systems.
The cobas® ISE neo analytical unit is designed to help improve throughput levels while also simplifying lab operations to leave your team with more time to work on strategic tasks over operational tasks.
