Stefanos Tsamousis Appointed President & CEO of Roche Canada Pharma

Roche Canada is pleased to announce the appointment of Stefanos Tsamousis as President and CEO of Roche Canada Pharma, effective September 1, 2026. He succeeds Interim President and CEO Daniel Edgcumbe following Brigitte Nolet’s departure earlier this year.
A seasoned global leader with nearly three decades of healthcare experience, Stefanos brings a formidable background in biotechnology, strategic marketing, and complex regulatory landscapes. His distinguished career with Roche spans executive leadership roles across Europe and at global headquarters in Basel, Switzerland - most recently serving as General Manager of Roche Italy, following successful tenures leading operations in Spain and Sweden, as well as serving as Commercial Director Europe.

In his new role, Stefanos will lead the over 1,600 Canadian employees from Roche's Mississauga campus - a vibrant, cross-functional hub and AI Centre of Excellence - driving the next chapter of healthcare innovation, growth, and patient impact across Canada.
