Dr. Daniel Edgcumbe serves as the interim President and CEO of Roche Pharma Canada, while also holding the role of Vice President, Medical & Regulatory Affairs. Since joining Roche in January 2024, he has been instrumental in driving enterprise-wide strategies for growth, innovation, and operational excellence.

A seasoned leader with deep health system expertise, Dan brings a unique perspective to the Canadian healthcare landscape. His background includes practicing family and emergency medicine in both the UK and Alberta, followed by senior executive roles within Alberta Health Services and Halton Healthcare in Ontario. In these capacities, he successfully navigated complex stakeholder environments, bringing together governments, regulatory bodies, and patient communities across vast networks of care facilities.
