Earlier this summer, Foundation Medicine joined the Roche Family, allowing us to bring world-leading molecular insights to Canadian physicians and their patients and, in turn, connecting them with customizable and personalized approaches to cancer treatment.
Since no two cancers are the same, Foundation Medicine uses “Comprehensive Genomic Profiling,” to identify the unique makeup of a patient’s tumour and which gene mutations could be causing it to grow. While not a solution for everyone, this approach may provide powerful insights that deliver comprehensive clinical decision support tools to Canadian healthcare providers and their patients.
